​Product guarantees
Domotique.es, a company owned by Alejandro Castillo Román, guarantees, in accordance with current laws and the following conditions, all electronic equipment, components and other products that it distributes through www.domotique.es.

The consumer can contact both the seller and the manufacturer of the product, who will be responsible for any lack of conformity that becomes apparent within a period of three years from delivery (one year for second-hand products).

​

During the time that the consumer is deprived of the product, the calculation of the guarantee period is suspended. For example, if the repair of an object takes 15 days, the guarantee period will be extended by those 15 days.

Any manufacturer that has a guarantee longer than the 3 years stipulated by law must process said guarantee directly with the manufacturer, and this is not the responsibility of Domotique.es.

Shipping costs generated by the processing of the product warranty will be borne by Domotique.es in those cases where the existence of a lack of conformity in the purchased good is verified. This processing must follow the instructions indicated by Domotique.es, upon request and acceptance.

Conditions for companies and distributors
When the client is a distributor or invoices as a company (non-physical person), the shipping costs to our facilities will always be borne by the client, since the law on consumer goods does not regulate sales between companies. In addition, the warranty in these cases will be that stipulated by the manufacturer of the product.

The consumer may claim to the seller if the product does not comply with the contract in the following cases:

The purchased good does not conform to the description made by the seller.

The good is not suitable for the uses to which consumer goods of the same type are ordinarily intended.

It is not suitable for the special use required by the consumer and accepted by the seller.

It does not present the quality and performance expected according to the public statements made by the seller or the manufacturer.

Consumer and user rights:
Repair or replacement: The consumer may choose to have the product repaired or replaced, unless one of the options is impossible or disproportionate in cost. Both repair and replacement will be carried out within a reasonable time and at no cost to the consumer.

Price reduction or termination of the contract: If the repair or replacement of the product cannot be required, or if these are not carried out within a reasonable time, the consumer may request a price reduction or termination of the contract, except if the lack of conformity is of little importance.

Cancellation of guarantees
The guarantee may be cancelled for the following reasons:

Incorrect use, handling or maintenance of the product by the customer.

Problems caused by software and/or viruses.

Damage caused by electrical surges or physical impacts.

Incorrect repairs, modifications or extensions carried out by the customer.

Removal or alteration of the product's warranty labels.

The warranty does not cover:

Defects caused by incorrect use or improper handling of the product.

Products modified or repaired by unauthorized persons.

Problems caused by incorrect software/hardware configurations made by the customer.

Computer virus infection in the system.

Repair in these cases will be billed at a rate of 40.00 Euros per hour (VAT not included).

Warranty processing
The consumer may process the warranty by contacting Domotique.es. Alternatively, some manufacturers directly manage the breakdowns to offer a more agile and efficient after-sales service. In these cases, Domotique.es will inform the customer so that they can decide how to proceed.

Data protection on storage devices
Domotique.es is not responsible for the personal information contained in the device or storage unit. The customer is responsible for making backup copies of their data.

These warranty conditions do not affect the statutory rights of the consumer protected by applicable legislation.
